For Certified Yoga Teachers | Live Online | One-to-One
Advanced Personal Mentoring Course
Tailored 1-on-1 mentorship to refine your adjustments, master sequencing, and teach with unapologetic confidence
A Space for Growth
A yoga teacher is a holder of space and knowledge, a source of physical and mental support and a human being who deals daily with their own challenges.
An open space for reflection, inspiration and continuing education is vital for any yoga teacher in order to keep growing and dealing with the challenges of such rich relational work.
Through live online one-to-one sessions, two different modules provide a framework for a mentoring relationship focused on the teacher’s growth through reflective dialogue, shared inquiry and honest feedback. The intention is to nurture each teacher’s unique curiosity and autonomy by clarifying teaching values, refining skills and building confidence, while also surfacing blind spots that self-study alone can miss.

Maria, Yorgos and their shared journey
Maria and Yorgos come together as experienced yoga teachers in this personal mentoring program, but also through their unique bond as mother and son.
Following her studies in psychology, Maria turned to yoga early in her life, seeking answers to questions about her existence and the challenges she faced. Her son Yorgos grew up immersed in this environment, surrounded by the philosophy, and practice, of yoga, but also inspired by the effect yoga had on his mother.
Today, their collaboration brings together their deferent experiences and perspectives as yoga teachers, where, an older generation meets a younger one on a shared path.
Their intention in this program is not to shape teachers according to a particular ideal, but to support them in discovering and expressing their own authentic voice.
MODULE 01
Module 1 / From Yogasana to Inner Alignment
This mentoring Module offers an open and personalized space for exploring different aspects of the Yogasana practice and teaching. Rather than following a fixed curriculum, the focus of each mentoring journey is shaped by the teacher’s own questions, interests, level of experience, and evolving needs. At its heart lies the exploration of yogasana and alignment, not as rigid rules for positioning the body, but as tools for observation, understanding, and communication.
Possible areas you might choose to explore
- Revisiting asana and alignment principles, addressing areas that may need further exploration from previous trainings, deeper understanding of body’s posture and its effects.
- Experiential anatomy, somatic yoga and the sensorial exploration of one’s self.
- The relationship between energy, intentions and body’s materiality.
- Exploring how to move from asana-centered habits to a more student-centered way of teaching and actual teaching methodologies.
- Reflecting on your own teaching choices based on actual examples.
- Gradually shaping an approach that reflects your values and style, cultivating clarity, adaptability, and confidence.
All the above are starting points you may choose from, based on what feels most relevant to your own development.
What NOT to expect
- A conventional training course with a fixed curriculum
- A collection of techniques to master
- A teaching method to reproduce
- A space where the mentor provides all the answers or defines the “right” way to practice and teach yoga
- To shape you into a particular kind of teacher
Mentor's Note..
It is my honor to walk alongside you, even if only for a while, on your journey as a yoga teacher, creating an open space to reflect on modern yoga, its evolving nature, challenges, and possibilities. I believe yoga can support us in becoming more conscious, fulfilled, and connected human beings. At the heart of our encounter lies the practice of Yogasana, not simply as a physical practice but as a way of encountering ourselves and one another. Our bodies are living, open archives of knowledge and experience, continuously shaped and reshaped through movement, awareness, and the other. I see each yoga class as a temporary community, where people come together to practice and share their journeys of growth. Through this mentoring, my wish is to explore these possibilities together, without judgment, while honoring your individual path, values, and voice as a teacher.
MODULE 02
Module 2 / From Yoga Philosophy to Inner Listening
Possible areas you might choose to explore
- Yoga Philosophy. In this course, each teacher is encouraged to explore and choose the philosophical direction that resonates most deeply with them, shaping the mentoring proc ess around their individual needs, inner inclinations, and personal path of exploration and grow.
- Meditation & Awareness: Exploring the inner landscape of the mind through meditation practice, while recognizing and understanding personal limitations that may create resistance to conscious presence. Mindfulness and self-observation become essential aspects of this exploration, cultivating deeper awareness, meaningful discernment, and mental clarity.
- Sruti Path – Inner Listening: Guided self-inquiry and reflective practices that encourage deeper connection with one’s inner experience. A path that offers the teacher the opportunity to explore their inner landscape, while cultivating a deeper understanding of their students’ needs and fostering more meaningful and authentic communication with them.
- Yoga Philosophy as a Source of Inspiration and Teaching
Through experiential understanding, teachers discover authentic and practical ways to integrate yogic principles into the holistic design of specialized yoga classes, offering philosophical insights as invitations to personal inquiry rather than predetermined truths or directions. This approach encourages meaningful connections between philosophy, personal practice, and teaching, while nurturing an authentic and supportive teacher–student relationship. - The Teacher–Student Relationship: Exploring the psychological dimensions of yoga teaching through conscious presence, empathy, personal boundaries, ethical responsibility, and the cultivation of a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.
- The Teacher’s Inner Development & Authentic Identity: Integrating Yoga Psychology and self-awareness into the teacher’s personal development, exploring individual values, inner motivations, and the cultivation of an authentic, conscious, and human-centered teaching approach.
- The Yoga Teacher as a Mentor in an Uncertain World: Exploring the teacher’s role in fostering connection, mutual understanding, and a sense of belonging, while creating space for individual and collective growth within yoga communities in times of social and global uncertainty.
What NOT to expect
- This course is not designed to provide ready-made answers, rigid teaching formulas, or a predefined model of what a yoga teacher should become.
- It does not aim to impose philosophical beliefs, prescribe a particular teaching style, or suggest that there is only one authentic path of personal and professional development.
- Although psychological awareness and inner exploration are essential aspects of the learning process, this course is not a substitute for psychotherapy or clinical psychological support.
- Rather than offering solutions to follow, the mentoring process encourages teachers to question, reflect, and discover their own understanding, respecting their individuality, personal boundaries, and unique path of growth.
Mentor's Note..
The teaching philosophy of Breath of Life draws its primary inspiration from the teachings of Swami Sivananda and the holistic philosophical vision of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, while remaining open to the wisdom of other yogic traditions.
Throughout my personal journey in Yoga, I have studied and explored different philosophical paths, integrating into my teaching those principles that resonate with my personal truth, inner nature, and lived experience.
This journey has led me to believe that no one can truly show another person the path that genuinely resonates with who they are. Yet we can walk beside them, share our knowledge and experience, and help them gain greater clarity in their personal exploration. For me, this is the true essence of mentoring.
I deeply respect each teacher’s free will and personal purpose. Through this course, I wish to offer a space of trust, exploration, and support, where each teacher can discover their own relationship with Yoga philosophy and develop an authentic teaching style, regardless of the philosophical direction they choose.
At the same time, I deeply believe that our world today needs the ancient wisdom of Yoga, perhaps more than ever. I feel that we have a responsibility to preserve the essence and depth of this tradition, while discovering ways in which it can meet the genuine needs of people today without compromising its authenticity.
Every opportunity to share what I have learned and experienced brings me joy, as I support each teacher in discovering their own voice and their own way of keeping the wisdom of yoga alive—with awareness, respect, and inner freedom.
